What Fork is this?
Hi, I am newer here...I have not posted enough to drop photos yet so lets get started! I am Bill I live in Deep South Texas along the Gulf Coast. I have a number of bikes the current one in rebuild is a Cannondale SM 500 frame that came with a box of parts "it's all there..." The statement has been proven false! Go Figure...
The Fork I found in the box is not a Tange that I can tell. It is a 1" threaded although the bottom cup is loose in the Steerer tube.
Just above the lower Race is stamped 1993 CM / CM above that stamp and below the weld on the steerer is a name that is 6 or so letters long starts with an S and ends with AER or NER maybe AEP? NEP? Anyway, Help is required- S _ _ ? E ? Any informed ideas on who made the fork?
