this frame seems to have many other Andy signature elements, the mono stay - the interior seatpost binding bolt... a tour de force.

Andy embraced Stronglight and then his own design roller bearing headsets after finding Campy's a pita and lacking. Many early frames with the monostay and front binder have Stronglights before he went to his own. I have an 85 with them.

Interestingly he went back to Campy once he integrated his own cups, apparently apples and oranges.
