Shimano 3 speed hub

I am refurbishing my 38 year old Moosburg 3 speed internal hub touring bike. It has not been ridden in 25 + years.
I have cleaned, lubed and polished the front hub and fork, front calipers, replaced pads. I am now to the back hub. The markings are chicken scratch and a Patent #, which leads to Shimano, likely a model 333 based on age and one article. I am familiar with the old Sturmy Archer AW hub, which I could rebuild blindfolded - 50 years ago! What I found on the 333 hub is not serviceable..

1. How do I service this hub? Are the bearings removable? Do I just add oil and clean the exterior?
2. The chain is in great need of a good cleaning. Somewhere I read to never reuse the master link. Is this true?
