Hello from Ohio
Hi from Ohio. Longtime lurker. Would love to ride more, but stick to neighborhood sidewalks and trails with my 6 year old. Recently upgraded a used 20" Raleigh Rowdy for him with new parts. He's having a blast on it, having come from a 16" bmx style bike. I actually have to work to keep up with him now, rather than just coasting along. Finally joined because one of the new parts I threw on his bike might be defective, and I wanted to ask a question to see if I could fix it before replacing it. The avatar is me on my first 20" Huffy at about the same age as my son, but back in '85. Still have my 1992 Schwinn High Plains as a neighborhood bike and grocery getter with a rack on the back. Might need to put mtb tires back on it soon so I can keep up with my kid on the local mountain bike trails. Also have a 2010 Diamondback Podium 1 that mostly hangs on the wall sad and unused.
