This has been a diecent week when viewed from the saddle. Tuesday morning I set out just before sunrise for 33 miles. I felt strong and really appreciated the Spring morning chill with birdsongs filling the air, and seeing more and more green. Wednesday I tried to recreate that warm fuzzy Spring time sunrise loving feeling albeit in winter gear and somehow cold fingers still. Needless to say I was fatigued and drained so I only made it for 13 miles in all. Thursday I had a bite to eat with my coffee before the sun came up and had another delightful 26 mile ride. All 3 rides were on my Allroads which now has over 2000 miles on its odometer.

Today, Saturday I rode twice. Again me and my Allroads set off at 0530 for 30.5 miles. After a few hours break I put on a different set of kit and headed out on my Seven Redsky for 36 more. I was planning to ride much more on the second ride but I think the last few weeks of heavy riding is catching up with me so I cut it short. In Weston I crossed paths with a gentleman on a bright yellow Trek roadbike who I believe mentioned he recognized me, perhaps he’s from this thread? Anyhow I’m at 1943 miles for the year and hope I can squeeze in 57 more before Thursday.
