Hello from East Texas
I've loved bikes since I was a kid. My first ride was a 20" Hawthorne with solid tires and one of those removable tanks so it could be boy's or girl"s. My current ride is a Trek Marlin 6. I really like the 27.5 wheels. My sorriest piece of junk ride was a JCPenny 3speed Lightweight. It was that horrible 70s yellow/brown color with brown and red stripes. It was the kind of bike you'd love to pitch onto the scrap pile.
I'm 62 now and I don't get to ride much but I still love bikes. My latest acquisition for a project is a '74 Schwinn Continental in Lemon Yellow. Most of those I see are not the small frame like mine is.
