I’m running mine with a 50/42/28 triple and something like a 14-30 6 speed with Suntour XC Pro in the front and XC Comp in the back. Stock shifters were 6 speed- haven’t touched them in years.

Nice shape. Much better than this one. Oddly, it does not have the Trek headtube stamp like yours...hmmm...

I'm going to get my son's butt into gear to work on it and perhaps finish it today and tomorrow. It will be a learning experience for him.

Who knows, maybe I'll let him use a set of Campagnolo brifters, hyperglide 8 speed and Deore RD and see how it works! Haha
