This should be a mid-range model with Columbus Aelle plain gauge, carbon-manganese tubing. The lack of a front derailleur hanger and embossing are cost concessions to maintain the price, which was $529 US in 1986, That year, this model was still be offered in this exact same configuration, with the exception of the obvious replacements. The one thing I did find strange with 1986 version was that it was still spec'd with friction shifting, when Shimano had trickled SIS down to New 600EX that year. It seems strange that Cilo would be an SIS holdout given that Urs Zimmermann had won the 1984 Tour de Suisse for Cilo-Aufina, using the prototype version of New Dura-Ace and equipped with SIS.
