I love the rims and would use a set, in a heart beat, on the right bike. But that bike would not see very much gravel, or dirt, or mud, or thorns or anything that would cause me t have to shell out for another tire, plus the time to install it. But that is just me. I did try the tubular thing and they are OK with me on appropriate bikes (those manufactured prior to the availability of 700c clinchers). For something that sees lots of use, clinchers only now.
