edit: You're right, MX. Titanium has a lower modulus of elasticity than steel (I'll compare 6AL/4V titanium to 304 stainless steel, both of which Marwi use for spokes).

6AL/4V Titanium
Modulus of Elasticity: 16500 ksi

304 Stainless Steel
Modulus of Elasticity: 28000-29000 ksi
