Upgrade from 180mm to 200/203mm on Fox 34 Rhythm shock with Guide T brakes?
My new '20 Giant Trance Pro 29 2 came with SRAM Guide T brakes. Front rotors are 180 mm, and the calipers are post-mounted on 20mm adapters. The bike is great, but I am not happy with the brakes for my style of riding.
I want larger 200mm (or 203mm) front rotors, but I can't seem to find an adapter that fits. I bought a new 6-bolt 203mm rotor and a Shimano F203P/PM adapter, but it doesn't mount the caliper out far enough (doesn't work). I can't seem to find a SRAM adapter.
Any ideas what will work? Do I go 200 mm or 203 mm?
