I swear Im not holding out on Miguel! I do agree that many 70s frames make excellent Clubman-type builds. My latest is a 73 Condor Italia with 700c wheels, a rear FM hub, and a Stronglight alloy crankset. If you ignore the derailleur hanger and gear cable stops, you could easily take it for a 1950s bike.
