TS V also came with barcons, using a clamp-on cable stop on the down tube. TS IV has shifter braze-ons.
...and stainless steel spokes. My 84 TS-IV does not have the mid fork mount. No regret but over time SS spokes hold up better; and I like bar ends so will add to my recent acquisition TS-IV. TS-III did not have sealed bearing hubs that the IV & V have.
All 3 are great bikes.
