That's something to consider. On a group ride a few years ago, a friend was wearing his metal-framed glasses when he crashed, and one of the arms broke in half and impaled his cheek, right under an eye socket. He came close to losing an eye.

tldr: don't wear metal-framed glasses on a bike.
