Anyway, got my requisite 72 on my birthday. Seems there is some fascination with what folks eat on their rides so for the record I ate a Clif gel, a Clif bar, drank a bottle of Gatorade and most of a bottle of water. My dear wife made a pot of Chili, a pan of cornbread and my favorite chocolate cake so an excellent feed after the ride.

Next B-day ride for me is 7/10 and this year hope to add 2 more miles to last year's ride so will be 71 x 2 = 142 + 1 = 143. I do not allow wife to cook so meal is on me after. Most likely a huge salad with sardines plus my own dressing and my own Curry Powder mix + a huge baked sweet potato with lots of Ceylon cinnamon + some Organic South African or California Merlot + NY Style Cheesecake for desert. ALL FLAT here in SW FL so it's nice and easy.
