For the DIY route.
When I got a ratted-out Mondia frame, I went about prepping it for paint by sanding it down smooth, taped-off the areas that called for masking & bought a rattle can of SEM Hi-Build Primer Surfacer (#42013) from an auto paint store.
Dries fast & fills great! Gave it a few coats, sanding smooth in-between coats till I thought it was ready for the finish coats.

Instead of finalizing the finish coats myself, I brought the frame/fork to a body shop where he completed the painting.for me.
In the end, it came out great & only charged me a $100. IIRC, the color was a Suburu car color H5 ?
