You bargained well I'd say! I got very lucky with Greg's asking price. Also, we learned that he lives nearby the neighborhood my family is from in the Bronx and he remembered my grandpa's old company out there, so it was a nice deal all in all.
I must say that I am glad to have passed on my PX10 to you. I enjoyed her for a few years and she was gorgeous but just way too small. If only it had been a 56cm!
I hope that she enjoys riding it for many, many flat-free miles. You did some fine work to build her back up. I too was totally surprised and amazed that though we live across the country from each other we have such a close connection in the Bronx. You are welcome to ride any in my stable one day if you visit the Bronx again!
I will always have the photos of J.P. Weigle's French Fender Day '18 and '19 when I rode the 75 mile round trip on my PX10!
