And your head is not in motion? We are opposite, I tried a glasses mounted mirror and found myself kept moving my head around to see the correct spot behind me. I also looked at it too much since it was in my field of vision

Yes, that is the case, I have trouble turning my head to look behind me so I keep my head in one position most of the time. I thought that was your original premise. A helmet mirror works well for me but it does take careful positioning and practice to focus on the mirror quickly when I want to, check my six and get back to watching the road ahead while then ignoring the mirror that is in my field of vision. Anyway, it is a personal thing. Whatever keeps you safe on the road.
