It never gets easier, you just go faster. This is just as true with velomobiles as it is with road bikes. My test ride in a velo was immediately following a metric century in which I took the final 4 miles at 24 mph, which I thought was a good but tiring finish. With barely enough time to catch my breath, I had a chance to ride a Quest. It was adjusted for an x-seam about 3 inches too long for me, so I had to perch on the front of the seat to reach the pedals at all. I took it 3 miles down the road, then back - both directions at 25 mph. I can definitely see the appeal; unfortunately it's just not in my biking budget.
