If I had reviewed the advert I would have clicked through and paid no measure to respond.
inaccurately described, mechanical issues...
the sagging chain pushes a weak return spring, I am not sure that model has increased tension provisions. Ignoring the bar tape, the brake levers are set up in a way to render the comfort levers minimally effective.
But every salesman believes in their product.

the troll you dislodged had issues beyond your advert, quite sad, but we are in stressful times.

do correct the brake pad alignment, brass wool the braking surfaces, install some proper bar end caps, at least on the RH side.
