The rides have been somewhat therapeutic - but I still miss her like crazy. I may go on, but I'm not ever going to get over this.

Sorry for your loss. I've never really gotten over a significant loss, but with time I find I start to look back with appreciation on the positive impacts the person (or pet) had on my life and how they shaped my perspective on the world. Hope you can find that state of contentment in time.
