I like my Tailfin. I used to use a seat post bag, but I have minimal clearance between the seat and back tire. The bag eventually rubbed the tire at some point in time. And like you said, it is steady. No flopping side to side. I probably carry more than most Randonneurs, but my brevets have been more about training for longer rides than the brevet itself.
