Same general response from my point of view. I'm at 310 +/- riding a Specialized Road frame (alum) and a number of super-light Schwinn MTBs (Homegrown from the early 2000s), and have had no concerns, bending, breakage or complaints at all from the bikes. From everything I've ever read and experienced, the wheels will be your weak point, if you have one at all. I think it also helps that I'm a super careful rider, and avoid many potential damage sources (like super rough roads). The most important thing is that you RIDE!.
