Kauffman set things up so that it would be really, really hard for any subsequent owners to move the Royals to a different market, so we're all mostly OK with calling it Kauffman stadium.
The opposite side to that story would be if we had a "Reinsdorf Stadium" here in Chicago.... Even the most die-hard of lifelong fans would absolutely hate the name!
