Never seen a Merz yet that didn't have a s/n, usually the production number and the owners initials, there are a very few that were show bikes and prototypes but I have never seen one of those.

And most of his seat binders are the regular, straightforward pronounced ears, bolt and plain, perfect stay caps with beautiful workmanship.
