more web searches: Rocky Cycles, the entity behind Dorado, was Incorporated in Sunnyvale, CA from 1981-1987 before sliding into obscurity. The ebay catalog shows 3 mountain bikes & a couple of kids bikes, but no road bikes were featured. Apparently the Sherpa originally sold for $261. Not bad considering the quality components.
