suppose one wanted to restore a 1970s Chesini, fully and completely, up to it's original factory appearance... how might one track down the decals for this project? not just the Chesini logo decals, but also the specific and impossible to find little decal that states something about the bike winning some award in 1973 "Bici d'Oro - yada yada yada"? i'd imagine i'd spend half of my life tracking down originals of this particular decal, can it be recreated somehow? can all decals be recreated somehow?
next question, same Chesini: it is fully chromed, with a strange transluscent coating of electric blue that is transparent and metallic looking... it's not quite paint. what is it? what's it cost to re-do? who even restores such special creatures? and, most importantly, how much would i be shelling out to do this -- decals and all?
