The OP is a native english speaker living in SE Asia. Even having access to a car there is sort of rare.
WRT a previous suggestion from another poster in this thread: Having a road suitable for a fast road bike or any bike with less than 2 inch tires, really, just isn't a "thing," either. So there is no: "Just out run them."
The OP is up against cultural issues concerning the ownership of dogs. Hence the starting of a thread.
I like his solution. It's not all that much different than how hunters attach their rifles to their hunting E-bikes, locally. Albeit tailored to local conditions & resources. Bravo! 🙌
