I have an 2005 1500. REALLY like it. Bought it as my first road bike to see if I would like it. One season later and I want to upgrade. I have actually been looking for a leftover 2005 5000. The 06 5000 has MANY differences from the 05. (not good ones in my opinion) I would go with the 5000 as long as it fits you. Just my 2 cents!!
