Sounds like a fun ride, but what if you load up on stuff at the meet? Then you're finishing the ride with a frame on your back. Hmm. I have 3 old Trek frames (830) an old Raleigh that I've single sped/speeded (?), er converted to single speed, and there's two C-dale frames. I'm thinking maybe a sag van. then I can carry all the various parts as well (handlebars, pedals, cranks...)
