I have a pair of Campy Ventos, admittedly a low end wheel, and a pair of the older Velomax(Easton) Tempests, and there is no comparison. The Tempests, even the older heavier version, has the Campy beat. As someone else said about the Zondas, the Tempests feel like they'll roll forever. And they are solid. I crashed hard with the Tempest on the front, and while the rim did dent, it didn't collapse and it is still round and otherwise true. The fork OTOH shattered and the frame cracked. I only wish my Tempests were Campy compatible so I could've used the rear on my Campy bike before I crashed it.
