I haven’t been able to ride much this past year. Today I took it out, and noticed gear noise in Normal gear to the point it drowned out the pawl clicking. All the gears work and the other three sound OK. If the gears are loud when they are just idling is that a bad sign for the hub. It seemed to quiet down after I rode a few miles.
What are you running for a lubricant?
