I imagine you've seen the phenomenom, especially given your residence in Whistler. How many times have you seen someone go buy a big-hit bike and decide that it just isn't for them?
Its hard to live in this town and decide it isn't for you. Its usually the other way around. Someone buys a "normal" bike and ends up wishing they had something with a little cush
...
But I have also seen what you are talking about, I just assume someone who already rides, likely has an idea of what floats their boat
