front deraillier trouble
have just put new shifters on my bike, which has involved a bit of adjustment of the front derailler. now i can't get into my largest chain ring. The shifters ive just put on are newish deore lx and the front derailler is deore, could it be because the newer shifters don't work very well with the older derailler?
also when you shift the front derailler it moves forward and back as well as side to side and i don't know if this is normal. maybe i just need a new one.
