I assume you found the year and the appropriate Schwinn catalog? That should help with whether any parts are not original. I don't know that I would consider that model rare in the classic sense, and even if it were "rarer", I don't think that equates to higher cost. Even though this was considered "ultralight" it is listed at 26.89 lbs., the equivalent of 12.2 kg.
