Writing with an update. I saw the surgeon for my twelve week post-op check in. He told me the hamstring had fully reattached and the residual numbness and sit bone pain would go away with time as I rebuilt the strength in my hamstring and glute and nerves regenerated. I am back on my Kickr with the F8 and will get the F12 on the road in a few weeks. Rebuilding muscle strength will take some time. For example, I use to be able to do 3 sets of 15 leg presses at 340lbs. Now I am at 160! Bottom line prognosis is full recovery of strength over the next three months.
