I think the main problem is for the people who rides in the street... so no wonder they have problems... in track no problems because there r no brakes to start with. In the road it depends, but i had my bike with integrated headset like for 1 year and no problems so far.

I think the problem with recurrycelt its the crap that goes inside of the steereing post.. the star nut. I recomend to change that for an expander, Usually are sold for carbon forks with carbon steering post (or whatever the name of that is). The expander its easyer to install and u can apply better preasure when tighting it inside of the fork, and let u apply better power when tighting the whole fork, headset and stem.

Star nuts usually have problems because they move, simply sucks, besides if u need to take them out... nah nah bad idea...
