Depends on the bike. A lot of BMX use 25.4mm, for which you pretty much can't find a dropper post. If the bike has a 27.2mm post, those can be found. They usually don't have a huge amount of travel though - even with that, I'd go with a warm-up post. Which you CAN easily find for 25.4mm.
