Previously posted in C & V, a Birmingham (UK) made John Perks tourer dating from the early 80s. A 531 frame & fork (2 and a half inch rake), Gipiemme dropouts, Prugnat S4 lugs with Wagner DP fork crown, Suntour transmission of Cyclone II derailleurs, 14-34 Perfect freewheel & Power levers. It has a nice Sakae Ringo 36/48 double chainset and Road Champion bars. Weinmann center pulls with Kool Stops and 27" rims on Maillard hubs take care of the stopping and going. Rides beautifully and is kept for sunny days.
