As a lover of so-called "classical" music, I also greatly appreciate much of the folk and rock music of the 1960s and 1970s, back when popular music composers and performers had been trained in the classics and had genuine musical ability.
And yes as an example of enormous amounts of talent would be Miss Judith Durham of the Seekers. Don't think a finer female voice was ever created.
