I have a friend that has a 79 black, orange and yellow one like in the video, he's had it for a long time, comes from a family of drag racers and he ran it quite a bit.
I saw him run it several times, what a handful, lit the tire up in 3rd gear and incinerated it from the 1/8th mile to the end of the 1/4 mile.
Don't remember the ET but it was still very respectable all things considered.

One of the magazines got one down in the 10's without scattering it, they were very weak in stock form for this.
They sorely needed a rev limiter, stronger valve springs, welded crank, undercut trans, never mind turbo cams, O ringed head, HD studs, main cap plate and plenty more.
