I do the Road ID. Mine is old school with something like four or five lines of data of your choice etched into it. They now have a website the can be checked for further data, and I think they may have a chip in them. Not sure about that. The length and location of your rides might depend on what ID(s) you carry. My rides are generally in the 20-50 mile range in length, and I don’t really make planned stops. So I don’t carry a credit card (not that it’s an ID, but I do have a few $$ cash with me).
