I'll take the prize too. Winners of the actual Olympic Tri only got a single beer can and a little 4" tall beaver statue. I'll take the 3 extra beers instead of the beaver statue.

I did get curious and including some Team USA sprint and oly distance folks had the 2nd best bike split of the day. I would have had best if not for the cars holding me up. The run is a different story. Those suckers were running about 5:40 miles for their 10k Olympic runs. To my pedestrian 7:05 minute miles.

Then again, I would hope that they would be if they're elite.

A bit surprised their bike splits were "that slow". I thought the Ironman pros typically average about 26mph or so for a full 112mi split? And faster still for a half IM.
