I messed up a rear dismount today, though I didn't eat it. I just messed up the timing with my pedals and ended up going to the side instead of just back. I landed fine but my bike almost fell (I had grabbed the seat just in time). It looked pretty terrible, but this woman who saw it all said, "Nice save."
