Some pretty good advice here already. I have many times when I have had trouble getting out the door to ride my bike, but extremely few when I regretted the ride after the fact.

If you are having trouble motivating to ride, it may help to lower the bar. Say, if your regular ride is 20 miles, tell yourself that you're just going to go out and do 5. Once you are out, you may change your mind and go longer. Or not. The key is to get yourself out the door, even if you don't go very far.
