Pros of the china wheels, Carbon, look sweet. Had good luck with my last pair.
Cons: Always a little risky, customer support is lacking, and carbon rim brake makes me nervous.
Pros of DT swiss, legit company, weight is about the same, aluminum braking surface.
cons: Not carbon, price is a little bit more than super teams, will have to convince the wife it’s worth it.
It's a tough call. If you had to choose, since you are NOT racing, I would go with aluminum. I split the difference and ride Crabon wheels May-September and aluminum October-April. The handbuilt aluminum ones I got from
Psimet2001 are really good BTW so you may want to check with him on pricing.
