At the risk of beating a dead horse, if it was my new frame from a reputable frame maker, I would have spent a good portion of the time wasted on the give and take on this thread harranging the builder to make it right. I still (again
) cannot believe any good premium quality frame builder wouldn't bend over backwards to solve what appears to be a fairly simple (time and $ both) issue and make a good customer happy.
