had one of these BITD but I think mine was 1974, however had to trade down for a Nishiki semi-Pro cause I could not afford to keep getting flats (sew-ups, goat-heat thorns and "newbie" just did not mix).
These Pros were much nicer than the semi-Pro albeit the clincher tires held up better and could do my own patching.
