I got the cables and hooked everything in the drivetrain up. The Nuovo Record using both the Roadlink and the extended cage (
see earlier photos) seems to work very well indeed across the entire range — it even goes
relatively smoothly into the combination of the 32T rear cog and the 52T outer chainring at the same time (
why anyone would want to do that, I do know know).
Thanks for your input. This an interesting combination of modern and over-half-century-old technology… and it works.
