Nice early Trek TX-700. Got a braze date of December '76. These are nice riders and this is a pretty good price.

Southern WI Early Trek

1977 TREK TX-Venture - $350 (Janesville)

This 1977 TREK TX-Venture, one-owner Reynolds 531 aluminum frame bike, was used for road touring and as a commuter bike for 44 years. The bike has been well respected. It has all original components. Anything rubber was replaced as it wore out, including tires, brake lever rubber grips and brake pads. The handlebar tape was also replaced with cushioned foam tubing. Close-up photos show chips to the frame from normal use. The original owner's manual is included. This bike has not been ridden in a year and would benefit from a tune-up. It has been stored indoors. The bike can be ridden as is but it would make a great restoration project for this desirable TREK model. Pick-up or delivery options will be discussed if interested.
